Inside Of The Tank And Tank Roof

The insides of the tank should be checked properly for any holes or gaps in the tank or on the roof. If there are any, they will need to be repaired. The inside of the tank should be checked as there can be the growth of algae if the tank is not locked tightly. Always buy a domestic water storage tank that has threaded airtight lids. This will prevent the entry of any particles inside the tank.

When it comes to the surrounding of the tank, the roof or the place where you have installed the tank should be checked too. It is important that the surrounding is kept clean. Clear away all the dirt, debris, insects, fallen leaves, etc. This is important because even though your tank is kept locked all the time, one should still keep the surrounding clean sue to hygienic purpose.

Though not that important, but these things should be inspected too. To prevent any blockage inspect them and get them cleaned out.

Other Accessories

These accessories mainly include water tank fitting, pump, pipes, main switch, etc. Although these things don’t need to checked regularly but once a month, you should check them out properly for any kind of faults. If found, they should be repaired as soon as possible. Otherwise, your domestic water storage tank won’t be able to function properly.
